The Huntington Public Library is governed by a 5-member, publicly-elected Board of Trustees. The Library Director reports directly to the Board and oversees a senior management team comprised of specialists in a variety of areas and disciplines.

The Current Library Board of Trustee members are:

1. Kimberly A. Hawkins- President - serving until June 30, 2027
2. Sam Sowyrda - Vice President - serving until June 30, 2028
3. Susan Corcoran Waters - Secretary - serving until June 30, 2029
4. Pat McKenna-Bausch - Finance Officer - serving until June 30, 2026
5. Jennifer Hebert - Trustee - serving until June 30, 2030
