"What is a makerspace?" A makerspace contains communal technology and tools for creativity, education, and expression. Makerspaces foster an environment where staff and patrons work together to collaborate, design, and learn.

3D Printers
About
A 3D printer takes 3D specific file models and prints them out with plastic to a physical object.

We have several 3D printers available, including an AnyCubic Kobra, Creatlity K1, and Prusa XL 5.

Sizing
Prints are limited in size to a maximum of 14.7''w x 14.7''d 14.7''h, with a time limit of 12 hours.
Materials
Our 3D printers use a non toxic plastic called PLA, which stands for polylactic acid.

Button Press
About
The button maker is a simple to use tool that allows you to make buttons, keychains, and magnets. You can use a premade image (like magazine pictures or pages of books) or something customized (like a printed photograph or design).

The button maker cuts paper into a circle, which is then sandwiched between a metal backing and clear plastic cover.

Final creations are 2.25.''

About
Cricut makes smart cutting machines that work with an easy-to-learn design app, so you can express your creativity and make meaningful, personalized items. Create custom projects for everyday occasions & special moments alike.
Sizing
Our Cricut Maker 3 can cut materials up to 12"x12".
Materials
We have two types of vinyl for available for patrons: permanent and HTV (heat transfer vinyl/iron on). We have a variety of colorful cardstock and white sticker paper as well.

Flat Heat Press
About
Our flat heat press is essentially a large iron that can be precision controlled to a specific time and temperature. It can be used with sublimation paper or heat transfer vinyl on a variety of materials.
Sizing
The heat press has a maximum bed size of 15 in x15 in.
Materials
Our flat heat press can create custom bookmarks, coasters, magnets, ornaments, tote bags, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and more.

Laminator
About
Seal, preserve, or weather-prepare your paper products using our large format laminator.
Sizing
Our large format laminator can laminate up to 27" wide and as long as needed.
Materials
Our machine uses two rolls of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) plastic and heats them together to adhere to your paper.

Large Format Printer
About
Our large format printer is able to fit you printing needs for banner and posters.
Sizing
Our large format printer is capable of 24" wide and however long is needed.

We recommend high resolution files (300 dpi or more) to ensure quality prints.
Materials
We carry both standard paper and polypropylene paper.

Laser Engraver
About
The Fusion Maker 12 by Epilog Laser is the newest entry-level CO2 laser engraving, cutting, and marking system. It can produce engraving and cutting projects from a variety of materials including wood, acrylic, textiles, and more.
Sizing
The laser engraver has a working area of 24" x 12" (610 x 305 mm).
Materials
We stock a few select materials to have engraved: 1/8" plywood; glass cups with bamboo tops; glass vases (4"x4"); glass tiles (3.5" x 3.5"), and pencils.

Patrons can also bring their own materials for cutting/engraving. We strongly encourage patrons to coordinate with staff prior to their appointment, to confirm we are able to work with your material.

Mug/Tumbler Heat Press
About
Our Mug/Tumbler press uses heat to transfer images from our sublimation printer directly on to your mug or tumbler.
Sizing
We stock an 11oz mug can use an image size up to 8.75" wide by 4" tall. Our 20oz tumbler can use an image size up to 9.3" wide by 8.2" tall.
Materials
This machine uses sublimation ink and paper to transfer ink onto our treated ceramic mugs or metal tumblers.
