Home Improvement Reference Center is available outside the Library via barcode. It provides an online tool for home improvement assistance, including: maintenance, remodeling, electrical work, plumbing, wood projects, outdoor improvements, decorating home & garden, etc.

Sanborn Maps (HPL Database)

Sanborn Maps (New York State only)is available for in-library use only.  Sanborn Maps were created to assist fire insurance companies in assessing property risk. Maps list street blocks and building numbers from 1867-1970. This is a useful tool for researching property history.
